| GREAT plan a most useful springboard
Gee, Fred's firing it up at just the right time. {{{{Some people "don't like to have their records talked about," Thompson said Friday in Mount Pleasant, S.C. For anyone who didn't get the reference, Thompson helpfully added, "one of the guys who shall remain named Governor Huckabee."}}}} Bwa. Here's the "world" that the Code Pinkos want to rely on: {{{{"The U.S. Department of Defense is considering the deployment of 3,000 U.S. Marines to Afghanistan, as a result of our NATO allies' inability to support the combat mission," Mr. Hunter's letter said. "In the eyes of Congress, it is unacceptable that the United States must continue to dig deeper into its military force when some of our NATO allies are unwilling to fulfill or make robust commitments to the international effort in Afghanistan."}}}} What's the point, let them hide beneath their beds and whine like any other lib, the United States will just have to carry them on our backs, like we do all these sorry democrats.
The Surreal World of the Progressive Left
Rhetorically, they are passionate proponents of “equality" but in practice they are committed enthusiasts of a hierarchy of privilege in which the highest ranks are reserved for themselves as the guardians of righteousness, and then for those they designate “victims" and “oppressed," who are thus worthy of their redemption. Rhetorically they are secularists and avatars of tolerance, but in fact they are religious fanatics who regard their opponents as sinners and miscreants and agents of civil darkness. Therefore, when they engage an opponent it is rarely to examine and refute his argument but rather to destroy the bearer of the argument and remove him from the plain of battle. Consequently, misrepresentation of facts, distortion of motives and general acts of character assassination are the preferred modes of progressive discourse, as any conservative who has acquired a public persona can attest.
Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which there is a deficient number ...
Thiazide diuretics, which are commonly used to treat hypertension or congestive heart failure, can produce mild thrombocytopenia which may persist for several months after the drug is discontinued. The best proof of a drug-induced etiology is a prompt rise in the platelet count when the suspected drug is discontinued. Most people recover within seven to 10 days and do not require therapy. Thrombocytopenia may also occur transiently after a viral infection (such as Epstein-Barr) or infectious mononucleosis. Another form of thrombocytopenia is idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), an autoimmune disorder. Finally, there is thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), which is an uncommon disorder associated with anemia. Both ITP and TTP typically occur in adults, ages 20 through 50. Symptoms Typically, a patient with thrombocytopenia reports a sudden onset of petechiae and ecchymoses, from bleeding into mucous membranes or on the skin.
Back Wolves boss: Warnock
I fear for the young managers coming into the game because you just don't have the time. One year and one month in the Championship - that's ridiculous! "It took me six years to get Sheffield United up without any money! I'm not against sacking per se. I think some of them deserve to go. “But I would say to everybody at Wolves – directors and fans – that it's quite easy to get rid of managers, but I don't think anybody thinks about who they're going to get in. Or if they're going to do better. “It's the easiest thing in the world to get rid of managers. In the flick of an eyelash Wolves could have scored three goals and we could have missed our opportunities. “It could have been a completely different ball game if they'd taken their three chances. Let's not get carried away with doom and gloom here." Defender Michael Gray said: “We know we've got a tremendous manager." .
Tuberculin Purifed Protein Derivative (PPD)
Tuberculin purified protein derivative (PPD) is an extract of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that cause tuberculosis in humans. It is used to test if a person has been exposed to tuberculin protein, either from a previous tuberculosis vaccination, or from environmental exposure. When the body is exposed to foreign organisms, such as bacteria and viruses, the immune system produces antibodies against them. Antibodies help the body recognise and kill the foreign organisms. The antibodies remain in the body to help protect the body against future infections with the same organism. This is known as active immunity. Tuberculin is injected under the skin to test if a person already has antibodies to the tuberculosis bacterium. The tuberculin will be injected under the skin of the forearm, where it forms a pale wheal a few millimetres in diameter.

Misfits on a mission to delete us all
It could be the expiring year, or it might be me. One way or the other, I suspect that humanity is on the way out. Are we still sentient beings, capable of compassion? Or are we mutating into machines, with prosthetic bodies and brains that have been programmed like computers? Consider the behaviour of Pekka-Eric Auvinen, a withdrawn and sullen teenager from a drab town outside Helsinki, who one morning in November took his gun to school. Methodically stalking the corridors and politely knocking on doors, he shot dead eight students and teachers, then killed himself. A gratuitous act, mad because motiveless? No, Auvinen was acting out a scenario he had publicised earlier that day on YouTube. Here he wrote, directed and starred in the film of his brief life; he even predicted his death, announcing that he was 'the dictator and god' of his own existence and refusing to remain in a world overrun by 'weak-minded masses'.
Giants kicker enjoys spotlight
Three of his four missed field goals and two missed extra points dotted the first half of the schedule. But he came on to miss only one field goal the second half. For a guy who bounced around NFL Europe and the Canadian Football League for two years before landing with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004, he'd had a pretty good stretch before things went awry last week. But, at least inwardly, his confidence never wavered. The exterior was another story. The second miss, yanked wide left after holder Jeff Feagles got a high snap from Jay Alford into good position, was especially deflating. "He just got down on himself," Feagles said. "I was trying to be like a big brother, bring his spirits up. I said, 'If you get another chance, you're gonna make this one.' " Once Eli Manning threw a final incompletion at Steve Smith in overtime, Tynes ran out before coach Tom Coughlin had time to look for him.
